The first generation<\/h2>\n

In 1956, Lei and Truus Nelissen started a farm with asparagus, strawberries and laying hens in Oirlo, Limburg. In 1979, they decided to continue with the laying hens alone. In 1990, eldest son Jos and wife Marie\u00ebtte took over the business and the company soon doubled in size. The research on medical uses of eggs teaches Jos and Marie\u00ebtte that there are also effects on the taste of the egg. Thus the idea of mixing, among other things, peppers into the feed results in a stunningly delicious egg.
